Fewer hotels, better picks
Open any big booking site and you face thousands of hotels, sponsored placements and review scores that all blur together. havenago exists to do the opposite: for each of our 50 destinations across Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, and Central and Eastern Europe, we hand-pick a short list of hotels genuinely worth your money — from budget finds to special-occasion stays.
Honest neighbourhood advice
A great hotel in the wrong location can ruin a trip. That is why every guide starts with the city itself: which neighbourhoods suit first-timers, where the night owls should sleep, which areas look central on the map but leave you stranded, and where you will simply overpay. If a district is noisy, touristy or not worth it, we say so plainly.
How we choose
- Independent selection: hotels cannot pay to be featured. We choose based on location, guest reviews, value for money and character.
- Regularly reviewed: when a hotel slips in quality, it gets removed.
- Every budget: most guides cover hostel-priced gems as well as splurges.
How we make money
havenago is free to use, with no ads and no paywall. When you book a hotel through one of our links, we may earn a small commission from Booking.com via the CJ Affiliate network — at no extra cost to you. This never affects which hotels we recommend; see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture.
Booking, done safely
We deliberately do not handle bookings. Once you have found your hotel, you book directly on Booking.com — with their prices, their free-cancellation options and their customer support. We do the research; they handle the reservation.
In your language
havenago is written natively in English, German and Polish — not machine-translated boilerplate, but guides written for each audience.
